1. In a wide bowl, add wheat flour, oil, and salt for taste.
2. Mix well and add water gradually to form a soft dough. Keep the dough aside for 15 minutes.
3. Chop onions, cilantro, ginger and garlic finely. Shred the paneer and keep it aside.
4. Heat oil in a non-stick pan and add chopped ginger and garlic.
5. Saute well. Add chopped onion, salt and red chilli flakes. Mix and saute well.
6. When the onions look sauteed, put off the flame and add the shredded paneer and chopped cilantro. Mix well and keep it aside for the mixture to cool down completely.
7. Pinch a small portion of dough. Flatten it into a thin round using a rolling pin.
8. Place the filling in the centre and start pleating the sides of the flattened dough.
9. Bring all the pleated sides to the centre and seal it tight. Repeat the whole process till all the dough and filling is complete.
10. Heat water in a steamer/ idli steamer. Grease a plate with little oil. Place the uncooked momos on the greased plate. Place the plate in a steamer and steam it for 12 – 15 minutes.
11. Take the momos out of the steamer and serve it hot with momos sauce or any spicy sauce of your choice!
