Khajur is a tropical fruit that grows on date palm trees in small clusters. Phoenix dactylifera, as it is scientifically known, is the most delicious and nutritious fruit. It has dark brown skin, soft flesh, and a sweet flavour.

The Khajur Ladoo Recipe 

The khajur ladoo is delicious, helps to boost memory, prevents cell damage and removes free radicals. 

Ingredients

  • Khajur- 250g 
  • Ghee- 2tsp 
  • Mixed chopped nuts- 100g 
  • Coconut- 1tbsp, grated 
  • Poppy seeds- 2 tbsp 
  • Double-toned milk- 1 cup 

Preparation Method 

1. In a mixer with milk, finely grind the khajur.

2. In a pan, melt the ghee and cook the khajur paste over low heat until it thickens.

3. Lightly toast the dry fruits, poppy seeds, and coconut in a separate pan to bring out their natural sweetness.

4. When the date mixture leaves the pan's sides, turn off the heat and thoroughly combine the dry fruits and coconut.

5. Make laddus out of the prepared mixture by lubricating your hands and wrapping them in poppy seeds before storing them in an airtight jar.
